Boudoir
For the woman who keeps waiting to feel ready
For the woman who has been thinking about doing boudoir, but keeps waiting until she feels “ready.”
Until she feels more confident.
Until her body changes.
Until she knows what to wear.
Until she feels less awkward in front of a camera.
And I just want you to know, you do not have to wait for a different version of yourself to be worthy of being documented.
What boudoir means to me
Boudoir, to me, is not about performing for the camera. It is not about trying to look like someone else, knowing exactly what to do, or walking in with all the confidence in the world.
It can be soft. Quiet. A little nervous at first. A little emotional. A little freeing.
It can be cozy sheets, soft window light, slow movement, messy hair, bare feet, your favourite sweater falling off your shoulder, and the little moments where you start to feel like yourself again.
A safe, calm space to be seen
I know being photographed this intimately can feel vulnerable. I know it can bring up nerves, insecurities, and all the little thoughts we carry about our bodies.
And because of that, I want this space to feel safe, calm, and completely pressure-free.
You do not need to know how to pose.
You do not need to know what to do with your hands.
You do not need to have the perfect outfit.
You do not need to feel confident the second you walk in.
I will guide you through everything gently.
I’ll help with outfit ideas, little movements, where to look, how to sit, how to breathe, and how to settle into the session without feeling like you have to perform.
My job is to make this feel easy, comfortable, and way less intimidating than it might feel in your head right now.
This can be for whatever season you are in
This can be for your partner, absolutely.
It can be for your wedding morning.
It can be for an anniversary.
It can be for a season of healing, motherhood, change, softness, confidence, or coming back to yourself.
But more than anything, I hope it feels like it is for you.
The goal is not to make you look like someone you are not.
The goal is to help you see yourself with a little more softness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. You do not need any experience in front of the camera.
I will guide you through everything, from where to look, how to sit, what to do with your hands, and how to move naturally. You are not expected to show up knowing what to do.
-
You can wear lingerie, an oversized sweater, a button-up shirt, a robe, jeans, bridal pieces, or anything that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable.
Boudoir does not have to mean wearing something that feels unlike you. Sometimes the softest images come from the simplest pieces.
Once you book, I can help you plan outfits that match the feeling you want for your session.
-
Only with your permission.
Your images will never be posted on my website, social media, portfolio, or anywhere else unless you clearly say yes. Your privacy is always respected.
-
Yes, if having someone there would help you feel more comfortable.
I just recommend bringing someone who will make you feel calm, supported, and confident, not someone who may make you feel more nervous or self-conscious.

Boudoir sessions can happen in your home, a studio, a hotel room, an Airbnb, or another private indoor space.
If you are not sure where to do it, we can talk through options together and find a space that feels soft, cozy, and comfortable.
-
You probably will for the first few minutes, and that is so normal.
Most people feel a little nervous at the beginning. My job is to ease you into it slowly, guide you gently, and make sure you never feel like you are just standing there wondering what to do.
The nerves usually soften once we start.

Yes, absolutely.
Because boudoir sessions are so private and personal, I do not keep a full public portfolio online. If you would like to see examples of my boudoir work before booking, you can ask and I’ll send over a private, expiring gallery link.
Only clients who have given clear permission to have their images shared will be included in this portfolio, and the link is only available for a limited time to help protect everyone’s privacy.
